On 23 June 2026, the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Žilina elected Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Odrobiňák, PhD., from the Department of Structures and Bridges, as Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering for the 2026–2030 term. He took office on 1 July 2026.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the former Dean, Prof. Ing. Marián Drusa, PhD., for his many years of hard work, professional leadership, and significant contribution to the development of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

We sincerely congratulate Assoc. Prof. Ing. Jaroslav Odrobiňák, PhD. on his election and wish him every success, wise decisions, and creative vision in leading the Faculty in the years ahead.
