During the February and March of the summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024, visiting professor of our faculty, prof. Ing. Andrea Segalini from the University of Parma, Italy, will teaching subject Underground Structures I.

The block of parallel lectures will be served in the Meeting room of the dean AE 307 and at the same time online via the MS Teams application, in following periods:

  • 20.02.2022 - 09:00 - 12:00 a.m.,
  • 27.02.2022 - 09:00 - 12:00 a.m.,
  • 26.03.2022 - 09:00 - 12:00 a.m.,
  • 28.03.2022 - 08:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Lectures are suitable for students of the 2nd and 3rd year of bachelor's studies of Civil Engineering and Construction Management programs and engineering studies programs Civil Engineering Structures, Construction Management, Bearing Structures of Buildings. For students of the 1st and 2nd year of doctoral studies (Ph.D.) program Theory and Structures of Engineering Constructions, participation is mandatory.

As part of the process of harmonizing study programs with SAAVŠ standards, a change in the name of the bachelor's study program Civil Engineering in both full-time and part-time form, in Slovak and English languages, was approved. The new name, that better describes the content of the education, is Civil Engineering Structures.

The UNIZA Accreditation Board decided on the harmonization of study programs in all degrees of study realized at SvF UNIZA as well as on the harmonization of habilitation procedures and inauguration procedures. The alignment decisions take effect on September 1, 2022.
