We are pleased to announce that the 14th Conference on Geosynthetics will be held on 9-10 February 2023 at the University of Žilina, Slovakia.  GEOSYNTHETICS 2023 is organized by our Faculty in cooperation with the Slovak Chapter of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS SK).  The conference is dedicated to the scientific and technological understanding of geosynthetics and the promotion of responsible practices in the construction industry.

We are excited to host this event and look forward to the participation of designers, consultants, producers, contractors as well as researchers, academics and students.

The conference marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of the University of Žilina and the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Accompanying events are "Open Door Day" and "Career Opportunities Day" for students.
